The Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant is a licensed provider joining the perioperative care team to support our full-time APPs during planned and unplanned absences. Per diem shifts begin with a minimum of roughly 10 hours per month, with potential for up to three to four 8-hour shifts monthly based on departmental needs.

In-person sessions will be based on geographic location within the Mass General Brigham footprint to minimize travel, with practice sites including Chestnut Hill,

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in Nursing required.
• APRN-NP state license required.
• 2 years NP experience; 1-2 years required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct care, counseling, and education to a designated patient population.
• Performs complete histories and physical examinations.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates appropriate laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Develops appropriate plans of care and follow-up based on findings.
• Orders medications and writes prescriptions per policies and procedures.
• Documents admissions, progress, and discharge notes.
