Job summary

Mass General Brigham Community Physicians, Inc. is seeking a per diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support perioperative care and provide coverage for full-time APPs during planned and unplanned absences.

The role may require travel between assigned sites within the Mass General Brigham footprint, with a minimum availability of about 10 hours per month and potential for additional shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree Nursing required.
• Five years of NP/PA practice experience preferred.
• Experience in Primary Care, Hospital Medicine, Geriatrics, Perioperative Medicine, or pre-operative optimization desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in ambulatory, inpatient, operative, and procedural settings.
• Perform histories and physical examinations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate labs and diagnostics.
• Develop and implement plans of care and follow-up.
• Order medications and write prescriptions per policies and procedures.
