BAART Treatment Centers in Visalia/Porterville, CA seeks a Per Diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support addiction treatment programs. The role involves admitting patients for Methadone and Buprenorphine treatment, performing histories and physicals, EMR documentation, and dosing oversight under the Medical Director.

Satisfactory CA licensure and MAT experience are required. This position offers hourly pay and flexible per diem scheduling within a leading outpatient addiction

Qualificações

• Assist in admitting patients for Methadone and Buprenorphine Treatment.
• Obtain a history and physical exam.
• Document into the EMR, enter orders for methadone dosing or write buprenorphine prescriptions.
• Authorize and supervise dispensing of daily narcotic replacement therapy in the Medical Director’s absence.
• Monitor patient dosages with the Program Physician/Medical Director.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Responsabilidades

• Admit patients for MAT and treatment.
• Take medical history and perform physical exams.
• Document in EMR and write/enter orders for methadone or buprenorphine.
• Supervise dispensing when needed and monitor dosages.
• Collaborate with medical staff and leadership to ensure safe dosing.
