Job summary

BAART Treatment Centers in Fresno, CA seeks a Per Diem MAT Physician to admit patients for methadone and buprenorphine, perform histories and physicals, and document in the EMR. You will monitor dosing with the team and consult on high-risk cases, with duties set by supervision.

CA license and addiction medicine certification required, 6 months experience. Per diem role offering compensation hourly with ranges of $100–$120 per hour, plus total compensation package.

Qualifications

• 6 months of addiction medicine experience required.
• Must be licensed in the State of CA.
• Board Certified in Addiction Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Admitting Patients for Methadone and Buprenorphine
• Physician will obtain a history and physical exam
• Documentation into the EMR, entering orders for methadone dosing in the EMR or writing a buprenorphine prescription
• Consistently monitoring patient dosages in conjunction with the Treatment Center Director, Counselors and Dosing Nurses
• Consulting on patients that are high risk and doing annual medication reviews
• Other related duties as determined by supervisor
