Job summary

Nacogdoches Medical Center in East Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse with Labor & Delivery experience for per diem night shifts. You will direct nursing service activities, provide specialized care to mothers and newborns, and collaborate with physicians and support staff.

Must have an Associate degree or nursing diploma, a valid Texas RN license, and BLS/NRP/ACLS with fetal monitoring. Per diem role offers flexible scheduling and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• Minimum experience: RN with a minimum of 1 year of L&D experience.
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS & Fetal Monitoring required.
• Licensure: Valid Texas RN license.

Responsibilities

• Directs nursing service activities of the Labor and Delivery Department.
• Renders specialized professional nursing care to patients in Labor and Delivery.
• Treats patients and families with courtesy and respect.
• Supports medical care as directed by medical staff and hospital policies.
