Nacogdoches Medical Center is seeking an Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery to direct nursing services and provide specialized patient care. You will work with patients and families, supporting medical staff while adhering to hospital policies and standards.
Qualifications include an Associate degree or Diploma in Nursing, and at least 1 year of L&D experience, with required BLS, NRP, ACLS and fetal monitoring certifications to be completed within 3 months of employment.
This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.
Directs nursing service activities of the Labor and Delivery Department. Renders specialized professional nursing care to patients in Labor and Delivery. Treats patients and their families with courtesy and respect. Creates a trusting attitude in both parents towards nursing and helps them accept their responsibility as parents. In support of medical care as directed by medical staff and pursuant to objectives and policies of the hospital. Work encompasses direct and indirect patient care.
