Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Fontana location seeks an MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners, acquire diagnostic images, and follow imaging protocols. You will ensure patient safety, coordinate with radiologists, and handle image processing and archiving in PACS.

The role requires two years in diagnostic imaging with MRI experience, an ARRT MRI certification, and BLS. Per diem shifts, including weekends, across San Bernardino County locations, are available.

Qualifications

• Requires two years in diagnostic imaging with MRI experience; may substitute with formal MRI training program.
• GED or HS diploma required; completion of approved radiologic/mri program preferred.
• Recognized ARRT MRI or MRIT certification and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners for diagnostic MR examinations.
• Follow imaging protocols and consult radiologists as needed.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation.
• Perform QC, start-up, image processing and archive images to PACS.
