Job summary

Sharp Rees-Stealy Kearny Mesa is seeking an MRI Technologist for per diem, variable shifts in San Diego, CA. You will perform a wide range of technical MRI procedures, assist physicians, and ensure image quality and proper documentation in RIS and PACS.

Required are MR imaging certification (ARRT/ARMRIT) or equivalent, AHA BLS, and venipuncture certification; experience in MRI is preferred. Excellent patient care and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of an AMA approved training program and required certification.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification is required.
• Venipuncture certification is required.
• MR imaging certification by ARRT or ARMRIT is required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate system issues to Leads and PACS team in a timely manner.
• Verify physician orders and document in RIS with accuracy.
• Accurately complete exams in RIS and ensure images are sent to PACS (Synapse).
• Maintain patient confidentiality and deliver high-quality patient care.
