Qualifications

• Certified MRI technologist required; ARRT MR OR ARMRIT certification preferred.
• AHA BLS certification required; venipuncture certification required.
• Satisfactory completion of AMA approved training program; state/federal certification as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of MRI procedures with patient care and physician collaboration.
• Verify orders, document in RIS, and ensure accurate billing and coding.
• Maintain equipment readiness, QC, and safety standards per AAAHC and department policies.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and imaging processes.
• Cross-cover in related radiology operations when needed to support workflow.
