Job summary

Bass Medical Group in Walnut Creek, California is seeking a highly motivated per diem MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures, explain the process to patients, and communicate throughout the scan.

The role requires ARRT/CRT licensure and BLS, venipuncture capability, and 3T experience preferred. You should be able to work Thursday through Sunday with potential extended hours and maintain high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• ARRT/CRT licensure and BLS required.
• Venipuncture licensure required.
• 3T MRI experience preferred.
• Ability to work Thursday through Sunday with 4–10 hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures with patient referrals and physician coordination.
• Explain MRI procedure to patients and communicate during the scan.
• Follow Radiologist protocols and orders; maintain logs and QA checks.
• Ensure safety and compliance with MRI regulations; protect patients and staff.
