Illingworth Research Group is seeking a Research Nurse (Per Diem) to support multiple Indiana sites (Fort Wayne, Seymour, Indianapolis). The role focuses on adherence to protocol, data capture, patient safety, and coordination with RN teams and investigators.

Requirements include an RN with 2+ years post-qualification experience and GCP certification. Strong communication, autonomy, and familiarity with CRFs, ECG, and Venepuncture are preferred; per diem flexibility is expected.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.
• GCP certification.
• Knowledge of research design and methodology desirable.
• Experience with Venepuncture and ECG preferable.
• Ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsabilités

• Fully conversant with the trial protocol, Case Report Forms (CRFs/eCRF), off-site manual (if applicable), supporting documents, procedures, and timelines to enable day to day running of the trial including all relevant SOPs.
• Communicate effectively with the RN project manager, site staff and Principal Investigator to ensure smooth information flow.
• Maintain accurate documentation and data transfer in line with SOPs, ensure subject confidentiality, and adhere to GCP and data protection.
• Attend Site Initiation Visits and other necessary meetings including multi-disciplinary and client-facing meetings.
• Coordinate trial visits on- and off-site, ensuring procedures and assessments follow protocol and SOPs.
• Administer trial medication per protocol; manage storage, transfer and accountability per SOPs.
• Process and safely package and dispatch samples, liaising with courier companies as required.
• Assist in identifying potentially eligible patients and support recruitment for trials.
• Ensure reporting of AEs/SAEs/SUSARs and follow up as needed.
• Report misconduct or fraud as required.
