Zusammenfassung

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Per Diem Sonographer to join the Maternal Fetal Medicine team in Fayetteville, GA, with travel to Stockbridge as needed. You will perform diagnostic ultrasound and support high-risk pregnancies under perinatology guidance.

The ideal candidate has ARDMS OB/GYN or Fetal Echo eligibility, at least 6 months OB/GYN/MFM ultrasound experience, and strong communication skills. This role offers flexible scheduling and exposure to a leading, patient-centered practice.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited sonography program with degree in ultrasonography or equivalent.
• Maintain ARDMS certification and OB/GYN or FE eligibility within 12 months.
• Evidence of continuing education credits to fulfill accreditation requirements.
• NT experience or certification preferred; CPR certification preferred.
• Minimum six months OB/GYN/MFM ultrasound experience.

Aufgaben

• Perform detailed fetal anatomical surveys, including twins and triplets; acquire data for interpretation.
• Assist physicians with amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling procedures.
• Document exam findings, measurements, images, and procedural details in systems.
• Explain procedures to patients; ensure comfort and privacy during exams.
• Rotate to other locations as needed to cover sonographer absences.
• Maintain equipment operation and inventory; follow safety standards.
