Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. (Three Rivers Midlands) is seeking a Per Diem Mental Health Technician for the 2nd shift at a comprehensive behavioral health facility serving youths aged 11-18.

The MHT works with the residential treatment team to support resident programs and treatment plans. The role requires assisting nurses, engaging with residents therapeutically, and maintaining boundaries in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field; minimum 1 year of direct care experience with adolescents/children in a residential setting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; knowledge of therapeutic relationships and behavior management.
• Willingness to engage with residents in a therapeutic manner and uphold boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses in psychiatric and physical treatment and care for residents per facility procedures.
• Help implement the resident program schedule and master treatment plan (MTP) as directed by the treatment team.
• Interact with residents in a therapeutic manner to support engagement in activities and events.
• Support staff in maintaining appropriate boundaries and safety within the treatment setting.
