Job summary

Three Rivers Midlands is seeking a dynamic Per Diem Mental Health Technician for the 1st shift in a comprehensive behavioral health facility serving youths aged 11-18. You will work with the residential treatment team to implement the master treatment plan and support daily activities in a therapeutic, boundary-conscious manner.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field with minimum 1 year of direct care experience with adolescents in a residential treatment facility, educational, or juvenile setting.
Valid SC Driver's License preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of therapeutic relationships, processes, adolescent growth and development, limit-setting and behavior management.

Responsibilities

Assist nurses in psychiatric and physical treatment and care of residents according to established methods.
Support the treatment team in carrying out the resident master treatment plan (MTP) and daily schedule.
Engage residents in activities and provide therapeutic interactions while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
