Job summary

Three Rivers Midlands seeks a dynamic Full Time Mental Health Technician (2nd Shift) to join its behavioral health team. The facility treats children and adolescents aged 11-17 across residential and RBH services, focusing on psychiatric and chemical dependency challenges.

The MHT will collaborate with nurses and the treatment team to implement plans, engage residents in daily activities, and uphold therapeutic boundaries in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field preferred with 1 year direct care experience in a residential setting.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and support treatment plans.
• Knowledge of therapeutic relationships and adolescent development.

Responsibilities

• Work with residential/clinical team to carry out resident program schedules and master treatment plan.
• Assist nurses in psychiatric/physical treatment and care of residents.
• Engage residents in activities and maintain therapeutic boundaries at all times.
