Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster, NH is seeking a per diem Medical Laboratory Scientist to process specimens, run tests, and report results under the Clinical Laboratory Manager. Candidates must hold a B.S. in Medical Technology or MLS and be ASCP certified or eligible within one year of hire.

Licensure in New Hampshire is optional. The pay range is $33.77/hr to $45.59/hr with final compensation based on experience.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science that meets ASCP Board Registry requirements.
• Must be ASCP certified or eligible; if not certified, must obtain within one year of hire.
• Licensure in NH is optional.

Responsibilities

• Process specimens, perform tests, and report results.
• Calibrate equipment and verify accuracy of tests/procedures.
• Assist the Clinical Laboratory Manager in evaluating new tests and procedures.
