Job summary

Adventist Health Reedley is seeking a non-invasive, routine technical support assistant to work under the supervision of licensed clinicians. The role supports patient intake, vitals, venipunctures, audiometry, and vision testing in a per diem clinic setting at Tulare, CA.

Requires HS diploma; CMA/RMA preferred and BLS mandatory. Additional certificates such as phlebotomy or CHDP within six months are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED or equivalent is Required.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Phlebotomy certificate preferred.
• Audiometry and vision training or CHDP certificate within six months of hire preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up exam rooms and manage patient recall and continuity of care log for labs, referrals and transfers.
• Obtain vital signs and report significant findings to the physician.
• Perform venipunctures as ordered and conduct audiometry and vision testing.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
