Job summary

Conviva Senior Primary Care in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a Medical Assistant who serves as the first point of contact for patient care, handling administrative duties alongside clinical support.

You will take vital signs, perform phlebotomy and vaccine administration, document in the EMR, and collaborate with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers to deliver patient-centered care. This role participates in TB screening and supports the clinic in meeting quality standards.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR Certified
• TB screening required for the role

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for patient care and responsible for administrative duties alongside patient care
• Perform clinical duties such as obtaining vital signs, phlebotomy, vaccine administration, sterile techniques, and documenting in EMR
• Collaborate with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers to deliver direct patient care within established policies
