Harbor Health Services, Inc. is seeking Medical Assistants to join our per diem pools across our community health center locations in Dorchester, Plymouth and Hyannis. Roles involve preparing patients, recording vital signs, and assisting providers.

The positions cover day shifts with some evenings and Saturday hours. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, Medical Assistant Certification or acceptable substitution, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred or acceptable substitute.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish, English/Vietnamese, or English/Portuguese preferred.
• Experience using EPIC EMR highly desired.
• Proficient with Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for visits by recording vital signs.
• Obtains medical history and documents in EMR.
• Performs and documents screening and basic lab tests.
• Assists with portal enrollment and messages.
• Supports routine nursing follow-up under provider direction.
• Trains new staff and maintains exam rooms.
