Job summary

ProMedica’s Med Surg Unit in Fostoria, Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a per diem, variable shift position. The RN provides patient-centered care, coordinates plans with patients and families, and collaborates with the health care team to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license.
• Current CPR training; specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units.
• The RN in Ohio must complete twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during licensure period; at least 1 hour must relate to Ohio nurse practice code and rules.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a patient's plan of care and communicate with the patient, families and health care team.
• Assess and formulate a nursing diagnosis; plan, implement and evaluate the care plan.
• Work collaboratively with fellow nurses and support staff to achieve patient care goals.
• Maintain compliance with unit standards and accurate documentation.
