Job summary

Boston Medical Center in Boston is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Med/Surg Float Pool. The Per Diem schedule supports flexible coverage across medical and surgical adult populations, providing exposure to a broad range of clinical skills.

You will deliver nursing care, coordinate with the health care team, document patient information, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Requirements include MA RN licensure, 1+ year experience, BLS, ACLS, and the ability to obtain a BSN

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Massachusetts.
• 1+ year RN experience.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS completed during orientation.
• PCC certification within 1 year of hire.
• Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in Medical-Surgical units including assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, and patient education.
• Communicate with health care team, patients, and families.
• Coordinate and delegate patient care activities with inter-professional colleagues.
• Update and manage patient records and enter data.
• Assist leadership with quality improvement projects.
