Job summary

COMHAR INC. seeks a per diem MDE Evaluator to conduct comprehensive multidisciplinary evaluations for infants and toddlers in the Philadelphia area. You will assess eligibility for Early Intervention Services and contribute to IFSP planning with families and the team.

The role requires experience as an early interventionist, DAYC-2 familiarity, and ability to work in families’ homes or community settings. In-person evaluations in Northeast and South Philadelphia are supported.

Qualifications

• Must meet Early interventionist qualifications.
• Bachelor’s degree in early intervention, early childhood special education, early childhood education, child development, special education or family studies with 1 year of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive multidisciplinary evaluations for infants and toddlers to determine eligibility for Early Intervention Services.
• Use IDA and DAYC-2 in natural environments to gather information and inform IFSP development.
• Collaborate with families and team members to support outcomes, confidentiality, and ethical practice.
• Enter evaluation data into HCSIS within 24 hours.
