Job summary

COMHAR, Inc. is seeking a skilled MDE Evaluator to conduct comprehensive multidisciplinary evaluations for infants and toddlers eligible for Early Intervention Services.

You will guide assessment activities to establish eligibility and support individualized treatment planning, ensuring families receive needed services. The role supports in-person evaluations in the Philadelphia area with per diem/relief status, not eligible for full-time benefits, and involves collaboration with the team to

Qualifications

• Must meet Early interventionist qualifications.
• Degree options include a bachelor’s in early intervention, early childhood education or related fields with 1 year of full-time-equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and completes the IDA in the child’s natural environment and discusses findings with the team.
• Participates in IFSP development and educates team and families about the plan while maintaining confidentiality.
• Coordinates assessment to determine outcomes, needs, and capabilities and informs families what to expect.
• Assists in identifying, securing, and using needed equipment and therapies; implements the plan.
• Ensures timely entry of evaluations into HCSIS within 24 hours.
