Job summary

Partnership for Maternal & Child Health of Northern New Jersey seeks a FCNJ Clinical Consultant to lead clinical operations and strategy for the Family Connects NJ program, aiming to improve outcomes for mothers, infants, children and families.

You will review guidelines, educate nursing staff, answer clinical questions, advocate for equity, and collaborate with hospitals and community partners to align with public health goals.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Midwife, Nurse Practioner (aka Advanced Practice Nurse) or Physician (DO or MD) license required.
• 5 years of experience in pediatrics, obstetrics, family medicine, or midwifery required.
• Experience working with diverse populations and organizations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review clinical guidelines, including normal vs. abnormal assessment findings, and update annually.
• Participate in weekly case conferences and educate nursing staff on maternal-child health topics.
• Answer clinical questions from nursing staff as needed.
• Advocate for high-quality, equitable health care for patients.
• Consult with subject matter experts when needed.
