Job summary

Atrius Health, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Mammography Technologist in Dedham, MA. You will perform mammography exams under a radiologist and ensure MQSA and state regulations are followed, delivering high-quality images with the lowest reasonable dose.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient care, maintain licensure requirements through CEU documentation, and be flexible to cover multiple locations when needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency certificate from an accredited institution
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• Massachusetts radiography license for 1+ years
• ARRT Mammography certification
• Knowledge of MQSA and ACR regulations (preferred)
• Knowledge of PACS and associated equipment (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Confirms clinical data, obtains patient history, and uses the lowest dose for high-quality images
• Ensures patient safety and confidentiality at all times
• Communicates effectively with patients and health-care team
• Identifies equipment problems and informs Department Supervisor
• Maintains CEU documentation for licensure at each location
• Meets ARRT continuing education requirements
• Willing to cover at other locations when needed
• Willing to participate in training of new mammographers
