Job summary

Atrius Health, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform mammography exams under radiologist supervision in eastern Massachusetts. The role covers Easton, Weymouth, and Dedham locations on a per diemschedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

You will ensure low-dose, high-quality imaging, maintain patient confidentiality, and coordinate with the care team while supporting licensure requirements and ongoing CEUs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency certificate from an accredited institution.
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• Must be licensed in Radiography for 1+ years.
• Passed the ARRT exam in Mammography.
• Must possess mammography license in the state of Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Confirms appropriate clinical data and patient history, uses the lowest possible dose to provide high-quality images.
• Ensures patient wellbeing and confidentiality.
• Communicates effectively with patients and health care team.
• Identifies equipment problems and informs Department Supervisor.
• Provides ongoing CEU documentation for licensure at each location.
• Maintains ARRT continued education and experience requirements.
• Willing to cover other locations when needed.
• Willing to participate in training new mammographers.
