Job summary

Atrius Health, part of the Optum family, seeks a Mammography Technologist I to work with radiologists on screening and diagnostic mammography in compliance with MQSA and Massachusetts regulations.

You will perform exams using the lowest reasonable dose while maintaining high image quality, confirm patient history, ensure comfort and confidentiality, and communicate with the care team. Available schedules include part-time and full-time options at Dedham, MA.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
• ARRT-M certification.
• Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license and minimum 1 year mammography experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography exams using the lowest appropriate dose while maintaining superior image quality.
• Confirm clinical data and obtain patient history prior to imaging.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, dignity, and confidentiality at every visit.
• Communicate clearly with patients and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Identify and elevate equipment or image quality concerns promptly.
• Maintain appropriate ARRT CE and experience documentation.
• Support team coverage across sites when necessary and assist with training newer mammographers.
