Job summary

Onsite Women's Health is seeking a Per Diem Mammography Technologist to support flexible schedules across our partner OB/Gyn offices. You will perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure high image quality while maintaining MQSA compliance.

Candidates must have ARRT license, 2 years of mammography experience, CME credits up to date, and the ability to work independently with exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Must have CME credits up to date.
• Must be very patient centric, compassionate, and computer savvy.
• Able to perform a variety of technical activities for screening and diagnostic mammography.
• Flexible with the ability to multi-task.
• Willing to cover on a moment's notice.

Responsibilities

• Specializes in production of screening and diagnostic mammograms.
• Responsible for initial and ongoing success of the mammography service in the practice.
• Prepares patients for the mammographic procedure.
• Explains procedures to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
• Moves mammographic equipment and adjusts exposure factors.
• Performs MQSA-compliant QA testing and maintains equipment.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and handles data entry.
• Participates in professional development and maintains affiliations.
• Assists Radiologist with QA/QC reporting.
