Job summary

Onsite Women’s Health is seeking a Per Diem Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic mammography using 3D tomosynthesis in OB/Gyn office settings. This role emphasizes independence, patient focus, and high-quality imaging across various office environments.

The position offers flexible scheduling, requires ARRT certification and up-to-date CME credits, and involves coverage on short notice with no weekends or after-hours work in this program.

Qualifications

• Must have up-to-date CME credits.
• Must be very patient-centric, compassionate, and computer savvy.
• Able to perform technical activities for screening and diagnostic mammography.

Responsibilities

• Specializes in screening and diagnostic mammograms for breast cancer detection.
• Assist in optimizing mammography service operations to ensure annual screening for eligible patients.
• Prepare patients for mammographic procedures and explain procedures to reduce anxiety.
• Move equipment and adjust exposure factors per protocol.
• Maintain QA documents and ensure MQSA/state compliance.
• Protect patients with radiation safety practices.
• Assist Radiologist with QA/QC reporting and follow MQSA guidelines.
