Job summary

Onsite Women's Health is seeking a Per Diem Mammography Technologist to support flexible scheduling and on-call coverage in OB/Gyn settings. The role emphasizes patient-centered care and accurate mammography across screening and diagnostic workflows.

Ideal candidates have ARRT certification, at least 2 years of mammography experience, and the ability to work independently in diverse office environments, with a focus on MQSA compliance and patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• CME credits up to date.
• Very patient-centric, compassionate, and computer savvy.
• Able to perform a variety of screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
• Flexible with the ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Specializes in screening and diagnostic mammograms for breast cancer detection.
• Supports the mammography service to ensure annual screening for eligible patients.
• Prepares patients for procedures and explains steps to reduce anxiety.
• Positions equipment and adjusts exposure factors per protocol and technique.
• Maintains safety standards and shielding procedures.
• Performs QA testing to meet MQSA and state requirements.
• Keeps patient information confidential and completes required data entry.
