Job summary

Onsite Women's Health is seeking a Per Diem Mammography Technologist to join our nationwide network of OB/GYN and primary care practices. You will perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, prepare patients, and ensure high image quality with 3D tomosynthesis equipment.

ARRT certification, CME credits up to date, and the ability to cover on short notice are required. We offer flexible scheduling and no weekend or after-hours work, with impactful patient care across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Must be up to date on CME credits.
• ARRT certification required; patient-centric and compassionate.
• Able to perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
• Flexible with the ability to cover on short notice.
• Willing to work in multiple office environments.

Responsibilities

• Specializes in screening and diagnostic mammograms.
• Supports the success of the mammography service in the practice.
• Prepares patients for the mammographic procedure.
• Explains procedures to reduce anxiety and obtain cooperation.
• Moves mammographic equipment and adjusts exposure factors.
• Follows safety standards and ensures equipment is in proper working order.
• Performs all required QA testing to comply with MQSA, ACR and state requirements.
• Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
• Processes routine paperwork and data entry.
• Participates in professional development and maintains affiliations.
• Maintains all QA documents to exceed FDA inspection requirements.
• Assists Radiologist with QA/QC reporting.
• Performs mammography tracking following MQSA guidelines.
• Is responsible for obtaining and maintaining accreditation.
