• Able to perform a variety of technical activities associated with screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.

Responsibilities

• Specializes in the production of screening and diagnostic mammograms.
• Assist in ensuring annual screening mammograms for eligible patients.
• Prepare patients for the mammographic procedure and explain procedures to reduce anxiety.
• Position and adjust equipment, follow radiation protection protocols.
• Perform QA testing to comply with MQSA, ACR and State requirements.
