Unified Mammography Services is seeking a Per Diem Float Mammography Technologist for its offices in Sarasota and Bradenton, FL. The role involves performing 3D digital mammography, ensuring quality, and collaborating with radiologists within MQSA guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Sciences, ARRT R.T.(R), and ARRT Mammography (M) certification, with strong English communication and attention to detail. MQSA compliance and ongoing education are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
• ARRT Registration R.T.(R) and Mammography Certification (M) required.
• Minimum two years of mammography experience preferred.
• English proficiency required for job duties and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography imaging and quality control procedures.
• Ensure proper functioning of mammography equipment and address malfunctions.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail during all procedures.
• Communicate with radiologists regarding mammographic exams.
• Interpret mammographic images, assess quality, and verify patient information.
• Complete necessary paperwork and medical records, including consents and billing.
• Ensure timely delivery of mammography results and escalate if turnaround times are exceeded.
• Support MQSA and ACR requirements and maintain continuing education.
