Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team serving facilities in Hampton Roads, VA.

Provide nursing care within LPN scope, administer meds, document patient information, and coordinate with the healthcare team. Per diem scheduling offers flexibility and competitive hourly pay.

This position requires active LPN license, CPR/BLS, and 1 year facility experience; same-day or next-day pay, and bonus after two shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
