Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads. You will provide nursing care within the LPN scope, administer medications, collect patient data, and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.

The role offers per diem flexibility, same-day or next-day pay options, and a bonus for shifts completed. Active LPN license, 1 year facility experience, and current CPR/BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification; PPD updated within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
