Geisinger Convenience Care seeks an LPN for per diem coverage to support providers and patients across a dynamic care schedule. The role focuses on delivering primary clinical support, documentation, and patient care within a collaborative team.

The position includes duties such as obtaining patient histories, recording vital signs, assisting with procedures, collecting lab specimens, administering vaccines, and maintaining sterile exam rooms. New or experienced LPNs are welcome.

Formación

• Active LPN license required in Pennsylvania
• Ability to obtain and document patient medical history and vital signs
• Assist provider and perform basic clinical tasks per scope of practice
• Strong charting accuracy and specimen handling skills

Responsabilidades

• Obtain and document patient medical history, chief complaint, vital signs and prepare patient for examinations
• Provide direct clinical care as directed by provider
• Assist provider in minor surgical diagnostic procedures and ancillary diagnostic examinations
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens and complete associated paperwork
• Administer medications and vaccines including intradermal and skin testing under provider direction
• Prepare and clean examination/treatment rooms ensuring asepsis between cases
