Job summary

Geisinger Convenient Care is seeking a per diem nursing professional to provide primary clinical support in a walk-in clinic setting. You will assist the provider, document patient history, and prepare patients for examinations, while administering vaccines and supporting diagnostic procedures as needed.

Responsibilities include maintaining aseptic conditions, setting up treatment rooms, and ensuring timely follow-up on tests to support high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required).

Responsibilities

• Provide primary clinical support to the provider, patient and family.
• Record patient medical history, vital signs and prepare patient for examinations.
• Administer medications and vaccines under provider direction, within scope of practice.
• Assist with minor surgical/diagnostic procedures and collect lab specimens.
• Maintain aseptic environment and prepare treatment rooms between cases.
• Follow up on diagnostic testing to ensure accuracy and filing in medical records.
