Geisinger Convenient Care is a walk-in clinic offering quick, convenient healthcare for patients age one and older. An LPN provides primary clinical support to the provider, documents history and vitals, assists with minor procedures, and ensures accurate lab work processing.

The position involves administering meds and vaccines under provider direction within scope of practice. Typical shifts are Monday through Friday with extended evening hours and weekend coverage; this is a per diem

Formación

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required).
• LPN license or eligibility is expected for the role.
• Experience in a clinical walk-in or primary care setting is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provides primary clinical support to the provider and patient during visits.
• Documents patient history, vital signs, and prepares the patient for examinations.
• Assists with minor procedures and diagnostic examinations as directed by the provider.
• Collects and prepares laboratory specimens and handles paperwork for lab studies.
• Administers medications and vaccines under the direction of a provider and within scope of practice.
