Job summary

Geisinger Convenient Care is a walk-in clinic offering rapid care for common illnesses, physicals, immunizations and minor injuries. This LPN per diem opportunity supports patient flow, collects histories and vital signs, and assists providers with procedures in a busy clinic setting.

New or experienced LPNs are welcome to join a team that values its staff; staffing includes varied shifts to cover weekdays and weekends in a clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Provides clinical support to the provider and patient.
• Obtains and documents patient history, chief complaint, vital signs, and basic data for the provider.
• Assists provider in minor surgical diagnostic procedures and ancillary examinations.
• Collects and prepares laboratory specimens and completes associated paperwork.
• Administers medications and vaccines including intradermal testing under provider direction.
• Maintains asepsis and prepares examination and treatment rooms between cases.
