Job summary

MedMark Treatment Centers is seeking a detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to dispense prescribed medications as part of a treatment team, in partnership with physicians and nursing supervisors. The nurse will also maintain dispensing equipment, inventory, and reports while ensuring compliance with CFR and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Must possess current & good standing LPN license in New Mexico.
• CPR certification required.
• EMR/computer proficiency preferred.
• Experience in chemical dependency preferred.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Administer daily medication to patients as per policy and protocols.
• Use automated dispensing systems and maintain dispensing equipment.
• Maintain records and reports per company protocol and regulations.
• Ensure security standards for distribution/storage of controlled substances.
• Stock and order medications according to DEA/state regulations.
• Provide daily patient assessments.
• Assist Nursing Supervisor with orientation of new staff.
