Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is actively seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our per diem team across Hampton Roads. The role offers $37-$39 per hour with same-day or next-day pay options and a hiring bonus after completion of 2 shifts.

This position emphasizes dependable nursing care, medication administration, patient education, and coordination with the healthcare team. Local applicants are preferred, with weekly pay and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
