Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. Salary range offered is $37.00-$39.00 per hour with Same-Day or Next-Day Pay options and a RapidPay Card.

Requirements include an active LPN license and at least 1 year of facility-based experience, plus current BLS/CPR and PPD within the last year. Local applicants only; Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license or equivalent required.
• BLS/CPR certification current.
• PPD within the last year.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
