Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads. This role offers competitive pay of $37-$39 per hour with Same-Day or Next-Day pay via the RapidPay Card.

Local applicants preferred. Requirements include an active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility-based experience, current BLS/CPR, and the ability to meet the physical demands of the position. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test within the last year.
• Must meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
