Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads, VA. Earn $37-$39/hour with the option for Same-Day or Next-Day Pay and a RapidPay Card.

Per diem shifts offer flexibility and potentially weekly pay with local staffing coordinators available 5 AM-11:30 PM. Requirements include an active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility-based experience, current BLS/CPR, and PPD within the last year.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
