Lawrence Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) in Massachusetts is hiring an LPN/LVN Dispensing Nurse on a per diem basis to support our outpatient MAT program. You will administer medications, monitor patient vitals, and educate patients within a regulated MAT setting.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, adherence to clinic policies, and collaboration with the clinical team. This per diem position offers varied morning shifts and weekend hours to fit staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (LPN/LVN).
• 1 year nursing experience in behavioral health or outpatient treatment preferred.
• Experience in outpatient MAT or recovery settings preferred.
• Ability to operate and maintain medical equipment safely.
• Skilled in drawing blood and specimen collection.
• Proficient in EMR systems.
• Ability to monitor vitals accurately.
• Ability to administer medications per physician orders.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of the Nursing Supervisor, Medical Director, and Clinic Director.
• Prepare and administer medication as ordered by the Medical Director or Program Physician.
• Document medication administration and nursing care in patient records.
• Ensure safekeeping and accurate inventory of all medication stock and records.
• Maintain accounting of medication received from suppliers and dispensed to patients.
• Dedicate approximately 90% of work hours to medication administration.
• Conduct and process urine and/or blood samples and read test results.
• Complete documentation associated with these procedures accurately.
• May transport medication to other locations or work on a CTC Mobile Unit.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
