Job summary

MedMark Treatment Centers is seeking a Per Diem Licensed Practical Nurse to dispense prescribed medications as part of a treatment team in collaboration with Physicians and Nursing Supervisors. The dispensing nurse also shares responsibility of maintaining dispensing equipment, managing medication inventory and reporting patient treatment information.

The role emphasizes compassionate, non-judgmental care for individuals in substance use disorder treatment while supporting the supervising team

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing in Indiana.
• Basic CPR certification required.
• Experience with chemical dependency treatment programs preferred.
• Strong computer skills and EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Administer daily medications to patients per policy and protocols, including methadone and Suboxone.
• Operate automated dispensing systems and calibrate dispensing equipment.
• Maintain records and reports per company protocol and federal/state regulations.
• Ensure security standards for controlled substances.
• Order, receive and stock medications per DEA/state regulations.
• Provide daily patient assessments and support nursing supervision.
