Job summary

MedMark Treatment Centers in the United States is seeking a Per Diem Dispensing Nurse (LPN) to join our outpatient treatment team. The successful candidate will dispense prescribed medications, work with physicians and nursing supervisors, and help maintain dispensing equipment and inventory.

This role emphasizes empathy, attention to detail, and collaboration with counseling staff to support patients with substance use disorders in a respectful, non-judgmental manner.

Qualifications

• Current & good standing LPN license.
• Current CPR certification required.
• EMR proficiency and computer skills desired.
• Experience in chemical dependency preferred; positive attitude toward treatment.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Administer daily medications per policy and protocols, including methadone and Suboxone.
• Use automated dispensing systems and calibrate dispensing equipment.
• Maintain records and reports per company protocol and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with security standards for controlled substances.
• Order, receive and stock medications per DEA/state regulations.
• Provide daily patient assessments.
• Assist Nursing Supervisor with orientation of new staff.
• Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
