Job summary
First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join its Per Diem team across Hampton Roads. You will provide nursing care, administer medications, document patient information, and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
The position requires an active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility-based experience, and current BLS/CPR. Per diem roles offer competitive pay, weekly pay, and flexible scheduling across Hampton Roads.
Qualifications
- Active LPN license required.
- Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- PPD within the last year.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Collect and document patient information.
- Provide wound care and patient education.
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
- Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
- Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
- Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
