Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses for Per Diem shifts in the Hampton Roads area. You will provide nursing care, administer medications, collect patient information, and collaborate with the care team to ensure quality results.

Active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility-based experience, and current BLS/CPR are required. Per diem roles offer same-day or next-day pay, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
