Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads. Per diem schedules offer flexibility with reliable shifts and competitive pay.

The role requires an active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility-based experience, BLS/CPR certification, and the ability to meet physical demands. Per diem status means per-shift assignments with weekly pay and local coordinators to support you.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
